Poor Stock Market UX

Sorry for the dramatic title, I just couldn't think of any other fitting adjective...

Now that the new server is running for a little more than a month we see a number of IPO attempts.

Nevertheless no company has been so far listed on the exchanges simply because no shares were signed.

A reason for this, is the rule that a company must have a valuation of at least AS$ 20M in order to buy shares through an IPO.

It may be an idea for future launches to leave the stock market closed for the first 6-8 weeks, so there wouldn't be a situation like this.

Also from a point of User Experience it is very unsatisfying to read a message like this after entering a sum into the subscription field :

"Your company is not eligible to participate in an IPO yet. You have to accumulate more equity."

While the message itself is pretty clear ("you are not ready yet") - it is unclear how much equity is required to engage in an ipo.

The Wiki article doesn't state any particular sum, there is no information in the game rules and the forum search has the disadvantage of ignoriring search terms with three characters or less (IPO).

While experienced players will of course no about this setting, it could be very confusing for new players.

Search function for "equity" would help...

Wiki is outdated and there is no other introduction. A suggestion would be to have it written in the message: you need 20 Mio equity.

... never mind oversaw the search filter... maybe this topic can be merged with the other discussion about the stock market :D
