NALU AIR CELEBRATES 2 MONTHS OF OPERATION

HONOLULU, HI - USA - Within the next 10 days, Honolulu-based Nalu Air will celebrate 2 months of operation on the Quimby V server, about the same time as the 150,000 passenger milestone. Despite fierce competition between 5 Hawaiian airlines, Nalu has withstood the challenges thus far and looks forwards to continue partnership with both interlining partners and Aerosky alliance members. In line with the milestones, Nalu has launched a new logo and livery, both of which are below.

NALU AIR GAINS NEW AIRCRAFT: CRJ1000

HONOLULU,HI - USA - With the need to increase frequency and capacity on the HNL-OGG route, Nalu Air is proud to offer a new aircraft type to facilitate the need for such a quick service -- the CRJ1000 NextGen, equipped with a total of 92 seats. This will be increasing service from Honolulu-Kahului route up to 6x daily, and replacing the 2x daily Hilo service to 1x using a CRK. With freed slots, Nalu has also increased flights to Kona to 4x daily from 3x daily and will allow for a new 1x daily service to San Francisco, California! NALU ANNOUNCES SAN FRANCISCO

HONOLULU,HI - USA - With the shift in flight schedules as mentioned in earlier releases, Nalu has introduced a new route - from Honolulu, HI to San Francisco, CA! Flights NU1024 and NU1025 will begin operations on 25-01-2017, with NU1024 leaving Honolulu at 21:00 local, and arriving in San Francisco at 04:02 local. Through partnerships with United SFO Air Lines and West US Air, passengers from Honolulu can connect to destinations such as Albuquerque, NM, Atlanta, GA, Baltimore, MD, Chicago-O'Hare, IL, Dallas-DFW, TX, Denver, CO, Houston, TX, Kansas City, MO, Las Vegas, NV, New York-JFK, NY, Portland, OR, Vancouver, BC, and Washington-Dulles, VA. Return flight NU1025 leaves SFO at 1210 and arrives in Honolulu at 1512, with connections available to Kahului, HI, Kona, HI, Lanai City, HI, and Lihue, HI. Flight schedules will be posted below: please note all flight times are subject to change, with all times local.

NALU ANNOUNCES VANCOUVER

HONOLULU,HI - USA - After careful deliberation into the introduction of a new route to the US West Coast, Nalu Air has decided on a new route to Vancouver, BC, using an A320-200 medium (enhanced) aircraft. Flight NU1040 will operate 1x daily, leaving Honolulu at 0715HST and arriving in YVR at 1450PST, with onward connections from partners AirWally and MapleLeaf Airways across Canada and the United States. Return flight NU1041 will depart Vancouver at 1550PST and arrive in Honolulu at 1925HST, allowing for interisland connections on Nalu Air. Flight schedules are as posted below:

NALU ANNOUNCES BURBANK

HONOLULU,HI - USA - With the desire to encourage partnerships between members of the AeroSky Alliance, Nalu Air has decided on a new route to Burbank, CA, using an A320-200 medium (enhanced) aircraft. Flight NU1046 will operate 1x daily, leaving Honolulu at 1130HST and arriving in BUR at 1848PST, with onward connections from fellow alliance member USfly onwards within the USA, further strengthening the AeroSky alliance as a whole. Return flight NU1047 will depart Burbank at 1950PST and arrive in Honolulu at 2307HST, allowing for interisland connections on Nalu Air. This is the second daily service that the AeroSky alliance will receive, and will be the first hub-to-hub flight for Nalu between Honolulu and another alliance member's hub. NALU RETIRES CSERIES

HONOLULU,HI - USA - Despite being the very first aircraft that Nalu acquired, N001NU has been retired after being a stable workhorse for months. As new aircraft join the fleet, we say adieu to 001 as it leaves Nalu for the leasing market. Flights to SFO and interisland connections have been replaced by a new A320 to increase capacity and streamline the fleet. Even then, we will always miss the very first aircraft in the Nalu fleet to build up the airline as a whole since its founding in November. You will be missed!

2-MONTH UPDATE: WHAT NOW?

HONOLULU, HI - USA - After an absence of about 2 months from this community, I have decided to update this newsroom. Since the previous update, flights to SAN, SJC, YVR, YYC, SLC, LAS, PHX, and PPT have started. Nalu Air has now joined the Omega alliance and has left most ties with the Aero Sky alliance, resulting in some interlining changes. The A320neo has begun to be introduced into the fleet, and it seems that the C-Series is currently being tested for possible re-introduction into the Nalu Air fleet. Regional expansion is underway using new Bombardier CRJ-1000 aircraft, and Nalu Air has now taken the #2 spot in Honolulu just in time for the predicted 1 millionth passenger. With 25 aircraft and hundreds of daily flights, Nalu Air is proud to see just how much it has grown over the past few months.
