A321 LR

Hi All,

When the LR version enters the market, it will be a true game changer !

According to this discussion in Airliners.net, it can do up to 4700 nm, that's 8700 km with reasonable payload.

In this Game, A321neo can easily cover the range of A321LR in real life because there is no wind in the game. People has been flying transatlantic using A320 variants (And even more ridiculously, CS300) for a while.

So doesn't this mean that A321LR in AS could fly even farther than in real life?  ^_^

Indeed it would mean that. Everyone keenly expects release of 321 neo LR as well as 737 MAX 9 HGW.

That would be fantastic, 8000km with A321LR. That’s fun

I'm already flying 7.500km with a320 neo profitbaly. Extra 1000km with A321 LR would be great and a death sentence for a lot of widebody-routes.

Soon as the A321LR & 737Max9/10 are available you wont see many rather small widebodys like B767, A332 and 787-8 anymore. But I assume on high demand LR routes where slots are rare an efficient widebody like A333, A350 or 787-9/10 will still be the better option plus the aspect of achieving extra money by filling the large cargo compartments.

787-8 will still have its route for LH routes those planes cannot still reach and for demand to small for the larger variants. Either that or some form of balance is done on all aircrafts.
