About Thai Asian Airways

The airline was founded on November, 17th 2017 by the executives of the Blue Aviation Group (flyBlue; European Cityline etc.).

Aim of the airline was to become the No. 1 airline for domestic services within Thailand. The airline started operations with five planes of the type Airbus A319 out of Bangkok (DMK) to domestic destinations.

As a next step more planes of the A320-family were added to the fleet and a second hub at Bangkok (BKK) was opened.

Because of the great success of the domestic flights, the airline decided early to expand its network, first to South-East Asia and India and later to the Near East, Australia, New Zealand and finally Europe.

Until now about 16 Mio people decided to fly with Thai Asian Airways.

Within one year of operations Thai Asian Airways increased its fleet from five Airbus A319 to 144 planes (20 A319ceo; 61 A320ceo; 4A320neo; 36 A321ceo; 2 A350-1000 and 21 A350-900).

Thai Asian Airways today offers about 2,000 weekly flights from its Main-Hub Bangkok (BKK) and about 200 weekly flights out of its second Hub Bangkok (DMK).

From the first day of operation Thai Asian Airways is a member of the high-quality Sky Alliance, to offer its passengers the best flight experience and connections around the world.
