Aircraft Market post-release changes // Post-Release-Änderungen am Flugzeugmarkt

[EN]

Yesterday’s release of the new aircraft market was very exciting and we are overwhelmed by the amount of feedback we got. Even though our impression is that you like the new system a lot we won’t stop here! As announced before, optimizations are on-going and we merely see the current version as a foundation upon which great things will be built

As a part of this we will apply a first patch later today containing the following changes and additions:

  • The much requested overview of your aircraft assets will be back. You’ll find it in the new Asset Management section under Finances.

  • Some reported having issues with Internal Errors when bidding. We aren’t 100% sure what’s causing this, but we’ve got an idea. We added a fix that might help.

  • When you’ve placed a bid, the “highest bid” button now displays the bid type you chose (cash, credit or leasing). The “increase bid” button also displays the amount payble to become the highest bidder again.

  • The aircraft transfer tool now also takes your “shared equity” into account when you want to transfer aircraft without compensation. A slight negative side-effect of this is that your capital account (number 3000) might end up with a negative balance. But that’s only a cosmetic issue. To all accountants playing AirlineSim: Is it ok when I just buy you a beer one day and we forget about it?

  • The aircraft trader has received a first batch of changes and will now use an adjusted price formula when placing aircraft on the market. Note that this formula remains subject to change. We’ll adjust it over time as we see fit.

If you come across any issues or have more suggestions for us, please don’t hesitate to post them on the forums. We’re listening
