Load Help?

Hello,

My loads on flights are very terrible. I have lower prices than competitors, high amenities, decent timing, yet my loads remain below 10% overall?

Also, my airlines aren't being sent out. I activated my routes, yet they are not flying.

I am sorry if these are basic question, but I am new here from a different sim game and I am having trouble understand the load problem.

did you read the wiki ?

Every airport calculates its passenger demand once per day. Scheduled aircraft start getting bookings three days ahead. So every scheduled flight gets passenger bookings three times before it takes off. At least, if you activate with a three day delay. If you activate straight away, aircraft will take off the next day and your plane will only get ticket bookings once.

Apart from the above, it looks as if you have very cheap seats in your plane. That means you have to sell your tickets very cheap if you want to be competitive. A competitor ho uses ecoplus seats, may sell his tickets at default plus 30%. If you use standard seats, you have to sell your tickets at or below default price if you want to be competitive... not just 5 dollar cheaper than him ;-)

Check the Online Reservation System to see how your flights rate compared with other flights.

Yes, I read the wiki but I did not understand the thing about the delay. Do you earn more if you have a 3 day delay or does it not matter?

And yes, this aircraft has cheap seats because I ran out of money, but my other 2 a320's have better seats (132/8/0).

Flights start taking passenger bookings three days out from the current date. The flights are added every 20 or 30 minutes or so. If you start with an immediate schedule, you won't get the three days of bookings, but you will start to get them going forward. You just might not make much money, and may lose a considerable amount in those first few flights.

Generally, for a starting airline, it's best to wait those three days.

Also, keep in mind passenger bookings depend a good deal on connecting flights.

Hi,

if you activate your flights with a three day delay, it means that you activate a flight schedule now, but the first flight will take off three days from now.

Airports book tickets for flights once per day. If you look at any airport page, one of the text lines will say: Demand calculation at ... (the time)

If you activate the schedule with a delay of three days, your planes will get bookings three times (three days in a row) before they take off.

If you activate without a delay, you will see that today's plane won't have many bookings. Tomorrow's plane will have more bookings, and the day after tomorrow's plane will have the maximum bookings it can get. If the flight is still half empty after three days, there is not enough demand on that route, or your competitors are doing better ;-)

If a plane gets extra bookings in between, it's transfer passengers who come from another airport and then use your plane to reach their destination.
