Whilst Aero Garuda is still a relatively young airline ( 3 weeks old), the airline has rapidly become expanded to become one of the major players in the Indonesian market. With a fleet of 25 aircraft from MD, Boeing & ATR we offer around 1148 flights per week from/to our Main Hub Jakarta as well as an additional 266 flights per week from/to our Secondary hub at Surabaya.

We have 24 of the 25 aircraft we have based at CGK as well as a single M88 based at SUB. The Regional Fleet currently has a single aircraft in the sub group however will expand significantly soon. This may even be offloaded into a Brand New subsidary. The ATR 72-600 we operate offer our customers the most andvance turboprop technology to date as well as superb economics for us. These are likely to be based all over Indonesia, mainly servicing the communities where our mainline jets are too large to land.

Our fleet configuration is as follows:

Since the last Press Release Aero Garuda has expanded EXPONENTIALLY by around 300%. We have increased our fleet from 25 aircraft to around 63 aircraft, including 3 Widebodies for long haul operations. We now have 4 operating bases at Jakarta, Denpasar, Surabaya & Balikpapan. We operate 67 routes from these 4 bases to 44 destinations in 8 countries with in Asia.

Our fleet offering is as follows:

image-23A9_52D7DC17.jpg

Our hubs operations are as follows:

BalikpapanThe smallest of our bases. We currently operate 189 flights per week to 12 destinations with a mixture of all our short haul as well as the ATR-72s. Balikpapan is our main gateway and focus of operations to the island of Kalimantan as well as neighbouring Sulawesi. We will mainly look to increase services to these islands in the future as well as massively expand the trunk routes of CGK, DPS, SUB, UPG & MES.

BPN route map

image-F32D_52D7DF83.jpg

Denpasar

The 3rd largest of our Hubs and our gateway to Bali. Whilst we serve less destinations than BPN from here (11), we operate 259 flights per week from here. This is mainly due to there being higher frequency services to the main hubs of CGK & SUB where we operate 19 & 8xDaily services respectively. Again Denpasar sees the majority of our short haul fleet as well as our ATR fleet. Denpasar will largely be based around serving the trunk routes as well as regional points in Tengarra. Also in the future we may start services into Australia from here as well as token international services.

DPS route map

image-EDA7_52D7E1FF.jpg

Jakarta

Our headquarters and biggest base by a long shot. We operate 1109 flights per week to 37 destinations in 7 countries. We will continue to expand both domestically and internationally from CGK. Internationally we serve BWN, SGN, SIN,HKT,MNL,PEK,PVG & HKG with BOM rumoured to be the next route. All of our fleet types touch base in CGK aswell as it being the main CRJ base. We intend to have near hourly services on the trunk routes as well as at least 3xDaily services to all other airports where demand permits.

We intend to leverage our extensive partnership with our chinese alliance partners to increases services to PVG initially as well as maybe start a new route to CAN. To let future routes bed in we will operate that at a less than daily service to begin with (mainly 3/4 weekly) due to our current international routes taking a while to gain decent loads. We currently in discussion with Australian authorities to gain slots to SYD, MEL or BNE.

We may look at a small aircraft for are mid haul international services (B737-900ER or B757) where there isnt enough premium for our B777s to operate to.

Surabaya

Our second largest hub in our network serving 13 domestic destinations with 318 weekly flights. The reason for much larger frequency of flights from SUB whilst having a roughly similar number of flights to BPN & DPS is due to very frequent services to our other hubs as well as KNO & YOG. Surabaya will remain a trunk hub with a few token regional routes within Java. Surabaya will soon gain it's first international service when we start a twice daily service into Singapore with one of our latest B738s.

AERO GARUDA REVEALS NEW LOGO

This week, Aero Garuda has gone under somewhat of a rebrad. To keep our image fresh and clean in a very competitive market, we felt we needed to bring more up with modern design. The branding has a lot more white in it, making it have a lot more brighter & vibrant feel.
