IE 11 slow

I've started using new computer setup , and Internet Explorer hangs for several seconds at 100%CPU when doing certain operations like flight scheduling.

 Any suggestions how to fix this? Mozilla has no problems.

Thanks for the reply Martin, but I was more interested to know whether this is a known problem or not. I tried searching the forums but I couldn't find anything.

More than likely it is a function of it simply being IE. It processes HTML and JavaScript very slowly and so you end up with the delays. Firefox works best or Safari if you are on a Mac.
