This week a new airline has commenced it's operations in the UK skies Aero Britain will later this week commence operations from the relatively underserved Northern UK airport of Manchester. The Full service airline aims to give the people of the North their own route network rather than having to constantly transit to the South-East. With its own catchment area of around 20 million people (within an hours drive) and the massive connecting potential from the region we believe we have the perfect location to begin our services.

Aero Britain commences operations with 8 B737-300 and a Single B757 aircraft. The 737s are configured with 15 "BizEurope" and 114 "EcoEurope" class seats. Business class features reclining seats in a 2-plus-2 configuration whilst economy features plenty of legroom aswell as footrests and IFE in every seat. The B757 is operating in a Long Haul configuration of 16 LieFlat "BizWorld" and 156 "EcoWorld" class seats with feature more legroom and more entertainment than the european seats.

We currently operate 32 Daily flights from Manchester to 8 Domestic/European destinations as well a single Long Haul route to New York's JFK airport. Whilst people may see opening the long haul flight early in our history is a risk, we feel combining the capacity of the B757 with our interline agreement with leading airline Buck's international meaning we see success on the route.

In addition to this we operate an operation from Guernsey under our IslandAir Services brand.

Whilst this is purely branding at the moment we do plan to move this to it's own subsidiary. We felt the people of this fine airline were almost isolated from the outside world so the air services we will provide our vital. We will be commencing operations with a single ATR-72 aircraft in a 2_Class (6/64) configuration. This will be fully branded in our Island Air livery and will also carry the motto "Fly the island way" on the fuselage.

The operation starts with Daily flights into our Manchester and a daily flight to London/City (except Saturday). In addition Amsterdam will be linked 4xweekly and Paris/CDG will be linked with 3xWeekly flights. Also we have what seems an usual flight but one that we see high potential one is our Saturday flight which will be operating from Guernsey on a Short Hop over to Dinard. We are potentially looking at further ATR to start inter island flights to Jersey. We will assess the viability of having business class on the flights or whether an all economy configuration will suffice
