NEW AIRCRAFT TYPE INTRODUCED

Today, fast growing Indonesian airline Aero Garuda have introduced a new aircraft to it's fleet - the Boeing 757-200. The aircraft is configured with 162 Economy Traveller and 25 Business Premier seats and is being used to start our upcoming first international route between our Jakarta hub and Perth, Australia.

This acquisition has come as a result of a huge uptake of initial bookings on the route meaning a need for a larger plane was required. This has enabled us to DOUBLE are services straight away to Perth by using the MD80 the 757 has replaced to start a daily service from Denpasar to Perth. Jakarta will be heavily utilised with transit traffic from our current network whilst the Denpasar route will mainly consist of O&D traffic.

We are already looking to acquire a 2nd B757 with which to start further services to Australia (From both Denpasar and Jakarta) as well as starting our first Asian international routes. However we will not forget about the huge growth potential in our domestic services also.
