Ameriwest_small.png Flying you with Love

I like your nice press releases you have been doing since some time ago. Just a question... why do you do so much airline/server hopping? What happened to AeroGaruda? It was a large airline. Did you get bored there or wasn't it going well? Do you need some help? I have nothing against your style, I am just curious why you are changing airlines/servers so much.

Hi

Thank you very much. Aero Garuda was running out of space and to be honest theres some regions I like, some I don't. Ive tried international from Indonesia from a few servers and struggled so decided to leave it. Im a big experimenter of strategies just out of fun more than anything. My quimby airlines have always been good just yet to establish on existing servers

BALTIMORE RECEIVES SOME BELATED LOVE

Although a bit later than the other hubs, Love Field based Ameriwest Airlines has decided to give its smallest base some LOVE. Baltimore/Washington International is receiving its SECOND based aircraft. With this we have tripled flights to New York/La Guardia as well as doubling flights to Charlotte and Norfolk.

The major expansion to LGA is a result of the heavy demand between the huge business centres of New York and the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. The business flyers demand flexibility to be able to chop and change their flights last minute throughout the day to suit their needs, which can only be achieved with higher frequencies.

Schedule changes are as follows

Baltimore/Washington - Charlotte Service increased from 1 to 2xDaily (Through and connecting service available to DTW, MDW & LGA)

Baltimore/Washington - New York/La Guardia Service increased from 1 to 3xDaily (Through and connecting service available to CLT, ORF & MDW)

Baltimore/Washington - Norfolk Service increased from 1 to 2xDaily (Through and connecting service available to DTW, LGA & MDW)

This now means we operate 10 Daily flights from the airport to 5 cities in the Northwest.

ALBUQUERQUE'S TURN TO FEEL THE "AMERIWEST LOVE"

Today, rapidly growing Dallas based airline has announced the increased "Ameriwest Love" it is giving to Albuquerque/Santa Fe. We have teamed up with New Mexico to provide vacation packages to the nearby national parks and Ski Valley. We have added an extra 4 Daily flights to ABQ with 2 extra flights to Dallas/Love Field (Now 3 times daily) as well as brand new routes to Denver (Daily) and a new route for the airport to our Houston/Hobby base, taking the number of departures we have a week to 35.

We will look to add further opportunities on our network with the airport keen on adding a service into our Chicago/Midway base as well as potential "non-base" stations.

Love Field keeps expanding

As well as increased services at ABQ, Ameriwest Airlines is also please to announce to continued expansion of its operations at it's Dallas/Love Field home base.

An extra MD80 has been based at the airport to expand our offerings on the following routes:

Dallas (Love/Field) - Chicago (Midway) Service increases from 1 to 2xDaily

IT'S A BREEZE TO SEE THE WINDY CITY WITH AMERIWEST

Today, Dallas/Love Field based Ameriwest Airlines has made it even easier for travellers to visit Chicago. From 27th September the fast growing airline will provide additional daily services from the Chicago's Midway Airport. The additional services on current routes show the strong demand experiencing in the region for its low fares. The schedule changes are as follows:

Chicago/Midway - Dallas/Love field Service increases from 2 to 3 times daily (Through and connecting service available to 12 other markets)

Chicago/Midway - New York/La Guardia Service increases from 1 to 2 times daily (Through and connecting service available to 8 other markets)

Chicago/Midway - St Louis Service increases from 1 to 2 times daily (Through and connecting service available to 8 other markets)

These new additions now mean we offer over 20 daily flights from the airport to 10 Cities across our network.

WICHITA LEAVES THE NETWORK

Its with great disappointment the Ameriwest Airlines is announcing the closure of its Wichita station. This is coming about due to the airline deciding to pull its daily flight to Dallas due to lower than expected performance on the route. It is unknown whether the slots will be used for another route as yet.

The chart below lists the largest stations on our network

Largest_Stations_24th_Sept.png

As you can see the number of cities served at our 4 hubs have not really changed however there has been an increase in frequencies on our existing routes. The aim is to have at least 3 flights a day into every station before we look to expand our network

Ameriwest_small.png Flying you with Love

I've been following. Great stories and promo materials. Good job!

Do you model your airlines after Southwest?

Wichita is a good market but you must have really many connections in your hub to fill planes. There is not much O/D to any specific place.

yeah I am modelling this airline on Southwest. I was debating making a DAL-ICT-MDW flight which would of filled it but at the minute I haven't any spare aircraft. Struggle at the minute is the cost of maintenance

Who is your maintenance provider?

It was Amethyst but ive change to Helvetica

Your maintenance cost will now go substantially down.

Yeah it seems to have worked and I should be profitable this week

AMERIWEST BRANCHES MORE LOVE OUT TO TAMPA

Tampa, the former "Cigar City" is something of a jewel in the crown of Dallas/Love Field based Ameriwest Airlines. The Western Florida city is among the highest performing stations on the network and currently has 4 daily flight with 2 each to both Dallas and Houston/Hobby. Today the airline is adding a third destination for the people of tampa with a daily flight to MOBILE, ALABAMA.

The flight will operate as a Dallas/Love - Mobile - Tampa routing and already there are strong forward bookings on the route. The one stop service was decided in a bid to improve the fortunes of the Mobile station which has been struggling with its Daily Dallas service. Already the route is significantly improved showing the potential other 1-stop routes on the network - One could be the potential return of Wichita on a Dallas-Wichita-Denver service.

TEXAN SERVICES INCREASED

In addition to the new Tampa service we also added a third daily service to each of Austin and El Paso from Dallas. This now means we operate approximately 16 daily flights from Dallas to SAT, AUS, ELP & HOU as well as 11 Daily flights from Houston/Hobby to AUS, DAL and SAT.
