Rajawali Nusantara Airlines, as flagship carrier of Indonesia, is committed to support government program of Wonderful Indonesia - an international marketing campaign under Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Culture and Tourism, to promote tourism, by enabling more people to fly to Indonesia. Currently all foreign and domestic airlines are free to fly direct to any Indonesian airports. However as it might not economically feasible to do so and given the limited airport with transfer capability, Rajawali Nusantara, in close coordination with Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Transportation - Director General of Civil Aviation, is willing to give up some CGK slots in its possession.
Rajawali Nusantara is aware that once the slots are given up, Rajawali Nusantara will lose control of the slots given and the beneficiary airline will be able to utilize it, as well as abandoned it, as the beneficiary could be bankrupt the next minutes. Aware that AS favor more frequency, Rajawali Nusantara is willing to sacrifice some of its daily frequency merged in larger aircraft to be able to offer some slots. So this slots coordination agreement is a gentlemen's agreement, we appreciate if you contact us when you no longer want the slots.
Rajawali Nusantara will evaluate slots request based on the following:
- new city pair with Jakarta, we highly value new destination from Jakarta, but we consider under-served city pairs
- distance from Jakarta, the farther the better, as we love travelling distant places, minimum distance: 2,630km
- type of aircraft proposed, more capacity means more traffic, minimum of 100 total seats, A320 or B737
- airline size and experience, minimum of one month old A+ airline, having at least 700 weekly departure from its hub
- no competition with current alliance/interline partner, currently having not more than 63 weekly departure from CGK
Slot Coordination Request should be directed to Rajawali Nusantara, stating airport you wish to fly from, type of aircraft you planned to use, number of passengers capacity, estimated time arrival and departure. All decision is final, Rajawali Nusantara has no obligation to honor any request. Prior to slots awarded, airline beneficiary are required to sign exclusive IL with Rajawali Nusantara in Indonesia. Priority will be given to request from alliance partner and interline partner.
